In these sessions, we will work on defining digital literacy and differentiating between media literacy and information literacy. We will also experiment with digital reading and writing. For the first half of two introductory sessions (February), teachers will complete activities on Google Classroom. During the second half of each introductory session, we will engage in small group conversations and debrief as a whole group. Between February and April, teachers will produce and execute a lesson that incorporates strategies and ideas from this PD. Teachers will then present their lessons to each other during the April STEM PD sessions.
